Hello. My name is Rebecca Skulan. I am the owner and founder of Red Dog Adventures. Where we do a variety of different sports which shows how versatile the Vizsla can be.
Sports we compete in:
Dock Dogs (NADD)
Fast Cat
Barn Hunt
Rally Obedience
Conformation
We also Hike, Camp, Bikejore, Kayak and Upland hunt as often as we can.
My entire life I've been animal obsessed.
From horses to dogs and everything in-between from competitive barrel racing to dog sports. I've been training and competing all of my adult life. But it wasn't until I reached my late 30's (2017) when I met my first Vizsla. When I drove from Wisconsin to Ohio to purchase a Belgian Malinois that was trained for protection work. While at the kennel a little a tiny red pup kept following me around and would sit on my feet every time I stopped walking.
A good friend who accompanied me on the trip had stated. "You know, sometimes the dog picks you"
Luckily the Malinois stayed in Ohio and that little red ball of wrinkles came back to Wisconsin with me. I named him Odin. He is the dog that started Red Dog Adventures along with my love for the breed.
I am very active with the American kennel Club with Certifications in:
Temperament evaluator
Canine Good Citizen
Trick Dog and Farm Dog Evaluator.
Red Dog Adventures is also an AKC recognized Fit Dog Club.
